1993

To empower the already accumulated knowledge of textile production and test the export possibilities, the Nonwoven Materials Factory group of companies acquired a factory in Sweden and named it Lithuanian-Swedish UAB Interscalit.

2001

For the first time, the company participated in one of the largest textile exhibitions in Europe, Heimtextil. Since then, the Interscalit team has become a regular exhibitor.

2004

All attention went toward the optimization of production processes. To speed up the movement of products between work centers, the company implemented the Eton system.

2010 – 2011

Interscalit was merged with another company of the NMF group, Trivilita, which produces mattresses and bedroom furniture. Seeing the greater potential of the companies working separately, in 2011 the companies were divided and both retained their original specializations.

2011

The team recognized the importance of the environmental impact that manufacturing companies have, accordingly, Interscalit and its products were successfully approved by the world – recognized Oeko-Tex Step and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificates.

2015

The automatic pillow sewing equipment Merello was installed. For even faster and more optimal pillow production.

2016

The list of equipment was supplemented by Ultrasonic. The device simulates seams with the help of ultrasound, so no threads are used to finish the product, and the processes require fewer human resources.

2016

We made another strong step to achieve our environmental goals – implemented the Waste Exit system. Thanks to this system, all scraps generated during production are transported to one place. Later, the materials are sorted by type and transferred for secondary use.

2018

With an increasing number of orders and export directions, it was time to expand production area and capacity. We chose to acquire a factory with experience in bedroom textiles in Ukraine.

2019

in response to the worldwide growth of e-commerce sales, requests for small orders, and demand for a fast delivery time, the brand FAM’ HOME was created. The company also started selling FAM’ HOME products on e-commerce.
